Health & Safety

Frost Construction (UK) Ltd complies fully with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 together with the Construction (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1996, the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 1994 and other relevant safety legislation in order to maintain our excellent Health & Safety record.

Overall Responsibility for Health & Safety lies with Matthew Frost, Managing Director in conjunction with our external advisors, Building Safety Group who advise on all Health & Safety matters and undertake regular site inspections.

Our Health & Safety policy outlines our general commitment to providing safe working conditions for all employees and people affected by our works and highlights the individual roles and responsibilities of Frost's staff in implementing Health & Safety procedures. The policy is renewed annually and additionally to take into account any new legislation or initiatives as they are introduced.

In addition to the Health & Safety Policy, a Health & Safety Plan is developed for each individual project. This plan is implemented by the Site Manager on a day-to-day basis and is on the agenda at weekly internal management meetings. Hazards identified as requiring Risk Assessments or Method Statements are reviewed and planned for during the weekly progress meetings, communicated to all parties involved and incorporated in the Health & Safety Plan.
